NRL are currently recruiting a Receptionist for our Client’s Distribution Centre based in WashingtonStart Date: 31st OctoberDuration: Long-term workDuties:

  • Ensuring that incoming/outgoing communications are administered accurately and in line with standard procedures
  • Recording and coding of all invoices through SAP and maintenance of SAP invoices to Managers
  • Regular communication required with our agency provider NRL, including organizing new NRL temporary workers to site, induction packs, creation of clock cards, news starters inputted on portal and TMS
  • Maintenance of TMS system for the production and completion of anomalies daily and weekly NRL timesheets
  • Maintenance of meeting room bookings via Outlook
  • Manage and maintain weekly Staff Shop including, replenishment, stock and accurate recording of takings
  • Book transport on behalf of Managers for their travel requirements
  • Administration of weekly consumables raising purchase orders via Fiori, ccomplete all associated paperwork and maintain records as necessary
  • Liaising with customers on telephone and in person whilst visiting site
  • The purchasing of stationary/consumables for the Glover site as and when required
  • Typing, photocopying as and when required
  • Ordering and maintenance of all staff uniform
  • Promote environmental processes as well as health and safety of all employees and visitors
  • Contacting members of staff with the use of walkie talkies and or tannoy system
  • Maintain signing in/out sheets for external visitors/staff on site daily
  • Ensure all visitors sign visitors book, issued a hi-viz vest and are informed of health and safety rules
  • Administrative support to DC
  • Maintain record of telephone extensions and speed dial numbers both internally and externally within the group, update, and issue regularly
  • Be able to communicate at all levels via different communication methods
  • Other Ad-hoc duties as and when required which may involve some HR related tasks

You will be:

  • Competent degree of numeracy and literacy
  • Proficient in Word and some aspects of using Excel, desirable
  • Demonstrate the ability to work to a high standard of accuracy
  • Demonstrate the ability to work competently as an individual or as part of a team
  • Have excellent communication and organisational skills as well as customer service skills
  • Exemplary telephone etiquette

Hourly Rate:
£12.82 for the first 4 weeks
