Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?RBC’s Early Talent Recruitment team is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Recruiter to add to their team in Toronto. You’ll be working as part of a small, collaborative, and agile team to identify and build a pipeline of top talent, partner with academic institutions to spotlight RBC’s external profile, and deliver full cycle recruitment in support of the T&O Student Program through our internal programmatic hiring approach.What will you do?
- Recruitment Operations
- Execute our programmatic hiring recruitment process – Identify and engage talent, post requisitions, source and shortlist candidates, support interviews, conduct role matching, and process job offers.
- Partner with the T&O Student Program team and hiring managers to support student conversions (full-time and co-op to co-op).
- Support data collection and reporting on recruitment term key performance indicators.
- Events
- Engage in proactive student engagement activities and events to promote RBC as a premier Technology employer, while identifying top talent to target for recruitment.
- Deliver recruitment-focused networking/information sessions.
- Recruitment Strategy
- Actively contribute to process improvements for the team’s recruitment approach.
- Participate in retrospectives, planning sessions, and innovation exercises.
What do you need to succeed?Must-have:
- 2 years’ demonstrated recruitment experience; familiarity with campus recruitment and events would be an asset.
- Experience providing consultative recruitment support in a coaching and advisory capacity.
- Communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfort presenting and speaking to audiences of different sizes.
- Organizational skills, ability to multi-task and adapt to changing situations and comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be flexible to work/travel based on business needs including evenings and some overnight travel.
Nice-to-have:
- Event planning capability.
- Change management experience.
- Knowledge of data collection and reporting best-practices.
