Job Title: Teaching AssistantLocation:Yorkshire and the Humber, West Yorkshire, LeedsJob Type:Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hoursPrimary Industry:Education and TrainingSalary:£83.95 – £95 Per dayJob Duties:The Teaching Assistant will support teachers in delivering educational activities, assist with classroom management, provide one-on-one assistance to students, help in preparing lesson materials, and supervise students during breaks and outings.Required Qualifications:Must have a minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths. A Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant experience in an educational setting is essential.Education:A Teaching Assistant qualification is preferred, but relevant experience will also be considered.Experience:Prior experience working in a school or educational environment is required. Experience working with children or young adults is highly desirable.Knowledge and Skills:Good understanding of classroom dynamics, ability to communicate effectively with both students and teachers, strong organisational skills, and the capacity to adapt to different learning styles.Preferred Qualifications:A Level 3 Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent would be advantageous.Working Conditions:The Teaching Assistant role involves working in a school setting, following the school term calendar. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
