At Corus, we Win Together, Think Beyond, Make it Happen, Learn Every Day and Show We Care.Ready to join US?About the RoleThe Corus Sales Department in London/Kitchener/Guelph is seeking a forward-thinking individual who can represent all Corus Radio, Television and Digital assets in both the Agency and Retail environments. The Account Manager – Sales will have a track record of developing non-traditional revenues by presenting innovative, research supported solutions to maximize revenue and provide a measurable ROI for clients. This role will Report to the Sales Manager.You will contribute by:

  • Deliver best-in-class Marketing solutions to our partners, utilizing the full asset portfolio of Corus, including television, radio, digital, social and creative.
  • Achieve Individual revenue targets tied to Radio, TV, Digital, Social and Creative/Production budgets.
  • Embrace Salesforce as the CRM solution for our clients.
  • Build expertise in all platforms – S4M, Wide Orbit, Salesforce, Radius, CSGO – to support revenue generation.
  • Build effective solutions-based marketing programs that address identified KPIs and deliver results for our client partners
  • Become an expert in Corus “Advanced Advertising” platforms to support revenue generation.
  • Exemplary, ethical representation of Corus assets to key client and community partners.
  • Positioning the Corus team as the “go to” solutions provider in the eyes of our clients and agency partners.

Skills and experience you will bring:

  • Post Secondary education in Marketing / Sales/ Business/ Communications.
  • Minimum two (2) years of media/sales related experience.
  • Ability to integrate Research into the sales narrative to advance the Corus advantage and drive revenue.
  • Ability to execute a thoughtful, concise Customer Needs Analysis (CNA) with clients to identify revenue opportunities.
  • Collaborative skills to work with key internal team/stakeholders (Client Solutions, Creative Services, Promotions, ISRs, etc.) to ideate marketing solutions.
  • Ability to build best-in-class presentations that incorporate strategy, research, media recommendations and customized Corus based solutions.
  • Execute a new business revenue generation strategy that delivers on targets and demonstrates a keen knowledge of the competitive landscape as well as local and Canada wide opportunities
  • Accurately forecast revenue for your account list/budget responsibilities, working in concert with your manager to identify opportunity and risk.
  • Possess a great sense for opportunity, with a focus on strong negotiation skills and the ability to close business.
  • A strong background in Digital and Social selling as well as a solid understanding of Audience measurement and research.
