As Senior Manager, Global Strategy & Programs, Innovative Medicine, you will unleash your leadership and strategic marketing capabilities to deliver meaningful results for people in need around the world. Your key focus area: Tuberculosis (TB) is one of the leading infectious causes of death worldwide. The World Health Organization estimates that 1.8 billion people, close to one quarter of the world’s population, are infected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis (M.tb), the bacteria that causes TB. It is responsible for economic devastation and the cycle of poverty and illness that entraps families, communities and even entire countries.Your mission: help address equitable access challenges for communities drive equitable societal impact for communities around the world that lack education on the disease. In this role, you will lead the -program design for select global health equity TB programs, develop assets and activations to actively engage J&J employees across the enterprise, and measure our collective patient impact performance.To be successful in this role, you will seek ground-breaking insights that can translate into transformational program solutions for patients. You will explore multiple ways to drive impact, including but not limited to tools & training to support healthcare workers, health technology solutions, catalytic grant-funding opportunities to innovative organizations, alternative financing approaches, and impact investing opportunities. Internally, you will partner closely with cross-functional Global Health Equity team members.   • Support the strategy development and lead program design for select Global Health Equity TB programs, including but not limited to strategic objectives, recommended financial investment, geographic scope, healthcare worker and patient impact metrics, alignment with critical external stakeholders including Ministries of Health, with strategic oversight of the selection process of prospective partners through to the final approvals that greenlight each program.
  • Support strategy recommendations for long-range strategic planning and annual operating plans for the full global portfolio of Global Health Equity TB program investments.
  • Work closely with Global Health Equity program delivery teams to ensure effective execution of corporate and J&J Foundation grants provided to NGO partner organizations, across priority geographies around the world.
  • Build strong working relationships around the world with key cross-functional J&J team members.

Internal Engagement

  • Lead development and execution of a global strategy that engages J&J employees across the enterprise, to actively participate in volunteer program activities related to the key focus area.
  • Develop a suite of assets that enable J&J employees to effectively learn about J&J Global Health Equity programs and communicate to external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Global Health Equity Communications team to develop, deploy and measure an enterprise-wide internal employee communication strategy.

Insights and Analytics

  • Become a subject matter expert in the collective global TB effort to increase equitable access to quality care. Scan the globe for opportunities to learn from other organizations in the TB community, seeking to unlock potential areas for collaboration.
  • Conduct research to better understand key issues driving health equity gaps, with an eye towards unlocking innovative solutions for J&J to make a meaningful differentiated contribution.
  • Analyze data to measure our collective impact and optimize program investments for maximum effectiveness.• A minimum of a Bachelors degree is required
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in business and/or healthcare-related roles
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial marketing roles
  • Track record designing ground-breaking programs for healthcare professionals and patients with positive outcomes.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare, the needs of patients and the healthcare providers who serve them. Able to anticipate trends, envision the future and inspire change.
  • Highly analytical, able to see through data and identify actionable insights.
  • Strong strategic ability to think creatively, conceptually and critically to solve challenging problems.
  • Project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and make difficult tradeoff decisions.
  • Creative! You are a never-ending source of innovative ideas to solve ambitious problems.
  • Strong leadership experience (formal or informal) managing dedicated, hard-working teams.
  • Developing and managing strong collaborative partnerships internally and externally.
  • Managing external vendors and agencies to produce quality work.
  • Outstanding communication and leadership presentation skills.
  • Able to navigate across a matrixed- organization and influence by building strong working relationships.
  • Passion for the important role that J&J can play to help improve equitable access to quality care.
  • Ability to work across multiple time zones, including Asia-Pacific

Salary:The compensation and benefits information set forth in this posting applies to candidates hired in the United States. Candidates hired outside the United States will be eligible for compensation and benefits in accordance with their local market.The base pay range for this position is $113,000 – $195,500.Bonus:The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.Benefits:
