It provides the right candidate with an exciting career path and real opportunity to not only grow themselves but to influence the business as we work together to bring our Defence customers into the digital age.Fujitsu Defence have an exciting opportunity, to deliver Automated Low-code solutions into a number of existing and future projects, for both internal and customer focused outcomes. We are seeking an experienced Automation/Low-code architect, the role will involve working across a number of projects and inputting into new business opportunities and bids, producing cost benefit analysis and defining our business automation tooling strategy going forwards. Although some exiting Low-Code platforms are in use, the role holder will have the autonomy to shape a solution that best fits the Business Outcomes, whilst being mindful of the constraints.To make this a success we need a strong technical leader with experience in the delivery and adoption of Low-code automation solution, Business Process Analysis and ability to create and present compelling proposals to the Business.Automation and Low-code Platforms are key capabilities of Fujitsu Defence’s technical delivery strategy for the foreseeable future and we are looking to grow our talent pool in this space, not just for this opportunity but to shape our business going forwards, working with partners, CDO, and Digital Leads.Your role will involve

  • Responsible for the overarching design, technical implementation, delivery and assurance of the Automation solutions and Low-code Platforms, associated processed and ways of working.
  • Automation of business processes using Low-code platforms, such as Microsoft Power Platform
  • Advising on the use of automation platforms and technologies, to clients.
  • Analysing existing business processes and identifying automation opportunities
  • Writing compelling proposals to articulate the costs and benefits of delivering such solutions.
  • Evaluating new technologies and ensuring that existing solutions are fit for purpose.
  • Leading the Data Platform Developers, making design decisions and assessing options.
  • Works with Scrum Master to define/prioritise work and raise Risks/Dependencies.
  • Optimising delivery, engaging with customers and projects on the delivery of automation solutions aligning to the Business Outcomes and security needs.

Your transferable skills and experience:Key SkillsExperience in the Design / Configuration / Usage in a number of the following –

  • Low-code Platforms, such as Power Platform, Appian, UiPath, Blue Prism
  • RPA and Automation solutions
  • Experience in Business Process Analysis
  • Software, Applications, APIs

General

  • Design Modelling, ideally with Archimate
  • AWS General / Usage
  • Azure Cloud General / Usage
  • VMWare General/Usage
  • Technical Leadership & Design
  • DevSecOps tooling and practices
  • Application Security Testing
  • SAFe Processes
