Collaborative connections.CWB Equipment FinancingCWB Equipment Financing is Canada’s largest and longest-standing equipment financing company – helping business customers secure equipment with our full range of financing & leasing services in construction, forestry, oilfield services & transportation from coast to coast.The opportunityThe Account Executive, Vendor Sales in the provinces of Nova Scotia and New Brunswick achieves sales targets and budgets by prospecting, developing and enhancing relationships with vendors and customers within the Transportation, Forestry and Construction markets.What you’ll be doingRelationship driven.   • Communicate directly with internal partners, vendors, customers, and external professionals.
  • Drive the credit and lease processes through generating quotes, applications, credit write-ups and closing sales.
  • Prospecting of new Equipment Vendor accounts.
  • Utilize effective communication to ensure customer expectations are successfully achieved with all internal/external stakeholders.

Who we’re looking for & what you’ve doneFoundational knowledge and experience to grow from

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent training
  • Minimum 3 years’ of demonstrated experience in equipment financing, commercial lending or equipment sales.

Skills and competencies that will take you further

  • Understanding of credit within a variety of markets including Transportation, Forestry and Construction
  • Solid negotiation, conflict resolution, time/people management skills.
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills to effectively build key relationships.
  • Strong business acumen, problem solving skills and analytical capabilities.
  • Proven work ethic with the utmost integrity and desire to excel and succeed.
  • Strong critical thinking and mathematical skills, attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Capable of learning existing software and programming used in house while remaining flexible to new technology being introduced.
  • Innovative thinker who takes pride in their strong detail orientation.
  • Strategic problem solver focused on finding the best solution possible for the client and business.
