Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?​RBC’s Enterprise Partnerships team is responsible for identifying, securing, and fostering deep relationships with partners that are mutually beneficial to the enterprise, our clients, and our partners. These high-value, strategic partnerships accelerate client value and engagement across the RBC products and lines of business including RBC’s internationally recognized award-winning loyalty program, Avion Rewards.In this role, you will be responsible for the leadership of strategic partners representing core verticals and associated teams, developing and deepening enterprise partnerships for RBC to unlock mutually beneficial value for shared customers and business growth. This is a highly collaborative role working alongside LOBs enterprise wide (i.e. Cards, Loyalty, Personal and Commercial business lines and more) to bring the best of partnerships to enable LOBs respective business objectives. You will be responsible for actively communicating and partnering with key stakeholders and executives to ensure alignment, engagement, and awareness of opportunities for integration and growth. You will support the team to develop a best-in-class partner experience for all stakeholders furthering RBC’s reputation as a market leader.What will you do?Reporting to the Senior Director, Enterprise Partnerships, management of a portfolio of strategic partnerships and a team of relationship managers and their respective core sector areas of focusProvide day-to-day senior partner relationship leadership, internal LOB collaboration, team growth and delivery including strategic vertical direction and account planning, professional development, and culture buildingTogether with the Enterprise Partnerships leadership team and key cross-functional stakeholders, create and align partner sector strategies to maximize portfolio coverage and client valueEstablish strong relationships and cadences with key external partner contacts. In conjunction, partner with internal product leads in LOB’s to proactively identify new opportunities to deepen and extend partnerships across LOB and broader enterpriseSupport the Senior Director, and Vice President, Enterprise Partnerships & Strategic Development to ensure overall program alignment, growth, and deliveryIdentify and advance existing and new partnership opportunities leveraging both internal and external sources (ie. RBC first party data analytics, IBIS reporting, Market Share/Earnings Annual Reports, relevant conferences etc.)Work with executive leadership and core internal cross functional business teams to develop a sound external facing partner proposal that highlights the benefits of a partnership with RBC (Enterprise wide or Loyalty Framework)Support monthly, quarterly and annual business reviews along with long range planning with key partners and internal stakeholders to drive engagement, identify new opportunities for integration, and foster best-in-class partnershipsSupport work to design relevant and insightful partner materials including sector reports, post campaign analysis and strategic roadmapsEstablish ongoing touchpoints with key stakeholders and functional partners to ensure continuing alignment of partnership activities and key business strategiesSupport in development and implementation of Partner Services practice management framework, including industry best practices and standards, guides, activities, and behaviors to ensure RBC is seen as the best-in-class organization to partner and work with, internally and externallyWhat do you need to succeed?Must-have:7-10 years of management experience with a demonstrated ability to drive to impact and nurture professional developmentExtensive experience in partnerships, consulting, client service or other relationship management with data-driven decision making, growing relationships and achieving mutually beneficial objectives and goalsConsultative experience and a passion for developing business plans for large, multi-faceted partnershipsAn MBA or graduate-level degree in related fieldExperience navigating and building trusted enterprise-level relationships with leading brands and cultivating mutually beneficial business value in market at paceExperience leading senior partner conversations and leading a team that does the same through day-to- day relationshipsStrong solution orientation with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentA sense of pride in maintaining consistent high levels of performance and attention to detailSelf-starter approach with a strong financial acumen and bias for action, sense of curiosity, and ability to build trust and alignmentStrong ability to work in a collaborative, supportive way in cross-functional teams and across the organization while being able to adapt in ambiguous, agile, and rapidly changing environmentsNice-to-have:Direct experience in Travel/Entertainment/Home industries to inform sector strategy insights and approachStrong communication, storytelling and presentation skillsExperience in Loyalty and rewards programsExperience in sales, consulting, or professional services / agenciesProject management experience including cross functional navigationWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
