Your role will involve connect our solutions to our global teams delivering services and to manage the steps from concept phase (BID phase) to a delivery phase (business-as-usual phase). Are you able to connect people, technologies and processes to create customer value and support Fujitsu’s customers on their digital journey?Then you are the one we are looking for to join our team as a Security Project Manager!Within Fujitsu, you will collaborate with our customers and be working together with our different departments based in the UK, but also with our Centre of Excellence (CoE) teams that are based all over the world. Our projects often impact business critical systems and therefore need to be treated as such.In a nutshell we are looking for a candidate who has experience as above, with an agile mindset and a rich experience in managing projects preferably across various sectors and technologies supporting Workplace; Infrastructure; ServiceDesk and ITSM environments. We expect that you work flexible, independent and implement governance to complete your projects towards a satisfied customer. You will identify stakeholders and manage risks by taking a pro-active and solution-oriented approach.Therefore, it is important that you:

  • Will estimate the costs of the project during the bid-phase and execute the project according to the budget. Proper financial/budget and cost control must be in place in order to achieve internal and external targets.
  • Will work together with Pre-sales team to document and create the project plan, including critical path, key deliverables and acceptance criteria’s and after winning, you will then be responsible to run your project together with the identified team members and stakeholders.
  • Will be responsible for delivering clear and concise status reports to both the customer and internal stakeholders and for managing the expectations, the basic approach is managing by exception. Your reporting must cover these areas.
  • Will provide solid internal and external communication that will be vital to ensure the success for your project(s). You will keep all stakeholders informed about project status and ongoing decisions to ensure that expectations and project deliverables are aligned.
  • Will serve as the leader for assigned team and will act as the main point of contact between the project team and our Global Delivery Centers as well towards department managers and our Delivery Director.
  • Will identify and eliminate problems, collect relevant information from different sources, develop alternative procedures and decisions based on logical assumptions. Therefore, you create a clear RAID log to gather the related T&T risk, assumptions and dependencies.
  • Will define measurable milestones, quality gates and deliverables to ensure acceptance by the customer.
  • Will create high level as well as low level project plans inclusive of resource plans
  • Will ensure that the project results meet the quality levels as agreed in the contracts
  • Will set-up ongoing communication and reporting according to communication plan
  • In Fujitsu everybody is sales, therefore project managers need to have eyes and ears open for new opportunities within the project/account they manage. Actively driving and pushing up and cross sell projects will be key.

Your experienceWe are looking for a motivated Security Project Manager with a positive and a ‘can-do’ mentality.Ideally your profile will demonstrate the following:

  • Willingness to go through SC security Clearance.
  • Effective management of the project baseline
  • Manages the production of the required products and the delivery of the project in partnership with the customer and business unit to ensure acceptance, closedown and handover to service.
  • Defines the project requirements, ensuring that the requirements catalogue traceability matrix is complete.
  • Knowledge and experience of Information Security project delivery.
  • Knowledge of Information security management systems such as ISO2700X and / or accreditation experience.
  • Knowledge of security management tools such as DLP, PAM, IDAM.
  • Manages the agreement process of the project requirements and objectives with the Project Board or appointed project assurance role. Operates along Fujitsu working practices ensuring compliance with local project management policy and procedure.
  • Produces and coordinates materials and baselines during all phases of the project by careful planning and documentation.
  • Establishing and reporting project Key Performance Indicators to the Project Board through Highlight Reports and stage assessments
  • Manages business and project risks and produces an effective plan and risk assessment so that timescales and project costs are understood and underwritten by all by the appropriate parties.
  • Ensures that formal review procedures are used. Manages the risks associated with the deliverables of the project in line with project management community standards.
  • Ensures that the impact on the business unit’s profit & loss due to project activities within the scope of the project is clearly visible and that all contingency usage is signed-off by the appropriate governance authority e.g. Project Board.
  • Accountable for managing and tracking the project costs and supporting Business Units in meeting payment milestones.
  • Builds and manages the relationship with key stakeholders (customer, subcontractors and Fujitsu). Typically, senior level manager and Project Board
  • Ensuring that the milestone achievements are signed by the customer and relevant invoices are raised.
  • Ability to manage the implementation of large-scale security change projects with the objective of addressing security threats, vulnerabilities and business risks.
  • Ability to understand the wider security context of the projects being delivered.
  • Able to articulate the value of security to all project stakeholders.
