The post holder will be based at West Suffolk Foundation Trust (WSFT) within the Emergency Department, under the Medical Division.The Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP) will use a high degree of autonomy and complex decision making to provide healthcare that enables innovative solutions to enhance experience and improve outcomes within their speciality area.The ENP is accountable for independent clinical assessment, examination, diagnosis, and treatment within an agreed scope of practice.   • oProfessional Registration with either NMC, GPhC or HCPC
  • oPossession of 1st degree in a clinical field e.g., Nursing, physiotherapy at a minimum 2:2 classification
  • oX-ray interpretation course (Band 7)
  • oIndependent Nurse Prescriber (Band 7)

Desirable

  • oManagement course
  • oX-ray interpretation course (band 6)

  • oTeaching at instructor level
  • oMasters Level/considering Masters Level Programme

  • oExperience of involvement in the delivery of education within the Emergency Environment
