Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?RBC Technology Infrastructure seeks a Director of AIOps Product to design, implement and manage leading AIOps (AI for IT Operations) solutions. You will drive the product strategy for AIOps and be involved in building products from conception to production. You will also manage the existing portfolio of machine learning-based services that will facilitate informed decision-making and business process optimization. Passion for user experience and building self-serve products, delighting your users is your ultimate mission.What will you do?Partner with the technology teams, and various business and operation units to identify opportunities, conduct workshops, and translate them into a product enhancement roadmapDrive product requirements definition, product planning, and product design (including writing PRDs) of new features and enhancementsUnderstand business issues and decompose them into measurable data or AI requirementsOverall strategic guidance for the expansion of the product line with enhanced/new capabilities and potentially into new client segments and geographic marketsDream up data and user interactions to create a comprehensive user experience. Work closely with data scientists and engineers and translate the vision into wireframe designsAlign product strategy and user experience to design measurable metrics and drive adoptionDrive value articulation and clearly communicate product and service benefits to our users and internal stakeholdersWhat do you need to succeed?Must Have:Deep knowledge and a proven record of success in building and managing AI products and solutionsDemonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success in working collaboratively and independently to address client needsIn-depth knowledge of the following is preferredAI, GenAI and Machine Learning conceptsExposure to ITSM, ITIL, and other toolsAbility to lead the delivery of significant business results that utilize strategic and creative thinking, problem-solving, individual initiativeEmploy effective methods to conduct and manage market research, stakeholder interviews, and quantitative and qualitative analyses to derive meaningful requirements and translate them into data and research requirementsAbility to define the scope of the product and ensure it meets business needs through partnerships between product management, SRE, development teams, and IT operationsExperience managing delivery from project scoping to the conclusion, while consistently keeping the client’s goals in mind and integrating feedback from clients and team membersAbility to act as the product owner, providing end-to-end oversight of the product in partnership with internal stakeholders and clients. Ability to conduct periodic comprehensive product reviews. Ability to perform validation steps prior to product launch, and perform post-launch support including positioning and marketing activities and ability to track the outcomes and articulate the valueDemonstrated ability to embrace agile and new ways of workingSkilled at facilitating and enabling others to work in new and different waysNice to have:Master’s degree in a technology/analytical field such as Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, Engineering, or other relevant technology fields. 7-10 years of experience in building and managing productsStrong understanding of AI/ML concepts. Exposure to IT operations including networking, system administration, and storageExcellent storytelling with numbers and ability to interact with and understand technical subjects and emerging technologies and their relevance to AIOpsException analytical and problem-solving skills.
