The Finance Department is in charge of the accounting, Financial Management & Budget, Regulatory Reporting, Financial and Strategic Steering & ALM and Tax of the US affiliates of Credit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank.P&A is in charge of building data driven reporting and macros for the division’s users, maintain and manage the User Developed Applications, maintaining and update some referential of Finance applications, and provide project management services and coordination.Summary
- Project Management support to the Finance Division: assist the members of the division in the definition of their needs, follow up of implementation plans and coordination of the testing on IT Projects,
- The manager of P&A has shown its experience in managing teams in an international environment, and its capacity to oversee technical teams while being able to ensure the developments are performed in a controlled environment
- He /she has performed similar function in a finance division.
- The candidate has a good understanding of the processes around accounting and management reporting.
- Experience with the main technology tools used such as Oracle Financials, Business Object, Essbase.
- We are looking for a proficient project manager with agile methodology expertise, and experience in programming either in Python or Power BI
- Service oriented, the manager will ensure the team assist the Finance users to develop reporting and automate their activities.
- The manager reports locally to the CFO of Canada, and to the Chief Operating Officer of the Americas’ Finance Division.
Key Responsibilities
- Manages the P&A team,
- Manages projects for the Finance Department,
- Oversee the building of finance applications using development tools available in MS Office, SQL, VBA, and Python,
- Provide application support to Financial Division applications such as Oracle Financials, Leasequery, Business Objects, etc.
- Ensure the P&A team properly manages and update referential under its responsibility, close accounting periods in the General Ledger in coordination with the accounting principles,
- Follow the IT budget of the Finance Department and coordinate the preparation of the budget of projects for the department,
