Position: Full-TimeRequirements:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or PGCE in Biology (or a related subject).
- Strong subject knowledge with the ability to teach A Level Biology.
- Experience in planning, delivering, and assessing Biology lessons at a secondary level.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Excellent classroom management skills with a passion for teaching and inspiring young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality A Level Biology lessons, ensuring students grasp complex concepts and achieve their academic goals.
- Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum and exam board standards.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that encourages curiosity and engagement.
- Monitor and support student progress, providing feedback to help them excel in their studies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure best practices are shared and curriculum objectives are met.
