DescriptionLeidos is seeking a Software Engineer to join our National Security Sector (NSS) software organization. The individual will work with the NSS Software Center team on a series of projects to stand-up and support operations for the Center. The successful candidate will perform hands-on activities and provide technical assistance to the Software Center Chief Architect including the design, development, test, and deployment of software solutions.Basic QualificationsWorking towards a degree in a STEM related major (e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, etc.)Experience with or understanding of software development technologies to include one or more development/scripting languages (e.g. Java, C++, Python); DevOps tools (e.g. Jenkins, Git)Understanding of Cloud technologiesUnderstanding of database technologiesPrimary ResponsibilitiesTake direction from the Chief Architect and NSS SW Center Lead for technical tasksDesign, Develop, Test, and Deploy software systemsImplement technical solutions that support the functions of the NSS SW CenterRequires BS degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.Original Posting Date: 2024-10-12While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.Pay Range: Pay Range $53,950.00 – $97,525.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
