Responsibilities associated with teaching mathematics:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, clear, and effective maths lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Evaluate and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
  • Contribute to the design and development of an innovative and comprehensive maths curriculum.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages students to develop a love for mathematics and critical thinking skills.
  • Lead and participate in maths-related extracurricular activities, competitions, and clubs.

To get qualified and cleared for this position you must:

  • Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) qualification (essential for the role)
  • 2 relevant professional references
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Proven success in teaching mathematics at the secondary level.
  • A genuine passion for mathematics and a commitment to making the subject exciting and accessible for students.
  • Ability to create engaging, creative, and effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to education.
