The Analyst, Digital Strategy is accountable for supporting the development of Digital Channels and platforms strategy to help build the bank of the future. This is an internal strategy consulting role where you will proactively scan the market to identify and assess new and emerging digital capabilities and our competitive standing, work closely with peers in Strategy & Innovation as well as other teams in Digital to provide competitive intelligence and functional insights for strategic projects, planning and presentations. The Analyst, Digital Strategy will support the development of business cases and maintain the Digital roadmap with project prioritization, updates, and funding availability.You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-2 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.How You’ll SucceedDigital Roadmap and Strategy – Maintain the Digital roadmap and vision for the portfolio of work you support. Proactively identify new opportunities that will solve client and business problems in alignment with the Canadian Banking strategy and provide recommendations.Market and Competitive Assessments – Proactively scan the market to identify and assess new and emerging industry trends, customer needs, digital capabilities and the competitive landscape, including CIBC’s standing. You maintain an intimate understanding of key advancements in product features, technology innovations and client experience advancements not only in financial services but across industries globally.Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with your peers in Strategy & Innovation (Strategy leads, Design, UX Research) as well as other teams in Digital (Product Owners, Data/Analytics, Developers, etc) and other stakeholders within the bank to provide competitive intelligence and functional insights for strategic projects, ensure alignment with Digital Strategy objectives, planning and presentations.Be the Bridge – Be a bridge between different Partner teams in Strategy & Innovation as well as other teams in Digital and partner Lines of Business to provide competitive intelligence and functional insights for strategic projects.Storytelling – Construct compelling and convincing strategic summaries.
