About the role:In this role, you will work closely with product managers, project managers, developers, and operations to figure out automatic quality control solutions to ensure the highest level of quality for new development and enhancements on Morningstar Direct.This role will be based in our Toronto office. We follow a hybrid policy of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote work.Responsibilities:Review and validate requirements and tasks’ acceptance criteriaWork with product manager and business analyst to clarify any requirements doubtsDevelop and execute test plan, detailed functional test cases based on requirementsAssure the product quality via manual and automation functional testingCollaborate with automation QA on automation testing and performance testingCollaborates with the development team on bug fixes through closingCommunicate professionally at all levels within and across teams on test status and test resultsSupports, design, develop and enhance test process and test reportingMentors and provides training assistance to QA engineersRequirements:A bachelor’s degree in computer, Finance, Math relatedAt least 7+ yrs quality assurance experience in Agile developmentMinimum 3+ yrs experience as Sr QA engineer or QA leadExperience with integration testing between applications3+ yrs experience of automation test experienceTeam player and self-starterProject management experience is preferredFinancial Services industry experience is preferred100_MstarResCanad Morningstar Research, Inc.
