This role will include 1:1 and whole class support. In addition training will be offered to those looking to progress to cover supervisor/Higher level teaching assistant. Within this role you will be supporting learners with SEN and Complex needs. This position is needed ASAP due to a new enrolment of students. The school currently supports 85+ pupils. This setting boasts brilliant grounds and offers a relaxing and inviting atmosphere. The school supports and embraces a creative curriculum that supports the child’s educational, spiritual and personal needs. - Childcare and teaching assistant experience (desirable not essential)
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN (desirable not essential)
- GCSE in Maths and English
- Eligibility to work in the UK
Responsibilities:
- Supporting learners on a 1:1, small group and classroom basis
- Communicating with parents and carers over pupils’ progress and participating in departmental meetings, parents’ evenings and whole school training events
