GFT’s impact is far-reaching as we collaborate with partners from across the company to deliver innovative and transformative IT solutions. Our clients represent Risk, Finance, HR, CAO, Audit, Legal, Compliance, Financial Crime, Capital Markets, Personal and Commercial Banking and Wealth Management. We also lead the development of digital tools and platforms to enhance collaboration.We are looking for a highly motivated Lead Project Manager to join the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) IT team. This individual will be plays a key role in supporting transformation initiatives, project delivery, and driving the culture and behaviors needed to succeed with a client centric approach. In this role, the Project Manager leads projects and applies Agile processes, resolves impediments, manages risks and helps drive continuous improvement for AML IT teams.What will you do?Deliver initiatives using Agile and Iterative Waterfall, communicate cross functionally, ensuring transparency of progress and outcomes. Report team progress and accomplishment up and across. Facilitate status updates (including project financials and running concurrent Agile/IWF projects in a fast-paced work environment), product demos and retrospectivesRemove impediments to deliver outcomes and results through proactive management of external dependencies, critical thinking/problem solving, and development of new solutions or approaches to ongoing challengesContinuously seek to improve team performance by promoting joint accountability for results and solving productivity issues. Facilitate and engage in analytical and technical conversations across platforms and multiple levels of influenceDevelop and manage the detailed schedule, identify early warning indicators, provide direction for early resolution of risks, issues and clear escalation path for program committees.Oversee financials and staffing levels to efficiently meet project delivery requirements and tracks value for effective decision-makingCollaborate with internal and external partners (e.g. Vendors, RBC IT teams, Business Partners)Build / present reporting for management level presentations & ensure the completion of risk assessments and the identification & execution of contingency plans.What do you need to succeed?Must-haveUndergraduate degree in Business, Technology or Financial Services with 7+ years of Project Management and/or Senior-level Scrum Master experience which includes both waterfall and agile projectAdvanced knowledge of Agile Project Management workflows (milestones, critical paths, product & sprint backlogs) with proficiency in JIRA, Confluence and SharePointProven ability to manage projects with third-party vendors and significant technology componentsAdvanced knowledge of change management and risk management, working knowledge of Software development lifecycle (SDLC)Strong executive presence and advanced communication, presentation and facilitation skillsNice-to-havePMP certification or equivalentCSM – Certified Scrum Master CertificationWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
