This year we are pleased to announce that we are taking on 27 Apprentices, who will all benefit from a combination of hands-on working opportunities and off-site training while studying toward a formal qualification in a chosen career.As a commitment to helping our customers live independently in strong communities, we give priority to our customers who meet the relevant criteria for the apprenticeship scheme, however, applications are open to everyone over the age of 16.Job title: 4th year Electrical ApprenticeHow long is the apprenticeship: 1 yearWhich qualification will you achieve: Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Electrical Installation.What you will learn:To assist in the overall objectives of the Electrical Section, and the delivery of an effective and efficient service. Ensuring work is carried out safely and properly.To complete a full range of electrical-related tasks associated with the repair, maintenance and refurbishment of our properties (under supervision) delivering excellent service to our customers.Complete minor elements of multi-skilling associated with the electrical work e.g. small filling/patching to décor.
To complete all relevant training and assessments associated with the apprenticeship within given timescales, attending college and in-house training as required.To work with managers, customers and tradespersons developing excellent working relationships with colleagues.To ensure risk assessments and method statements are accurately followed.To comply with the Group’s customer service standards and Code of Conduct.What we are looking for:To be considered for this Apprenticeship, candidates must have already completed 3 years of an Apprenticeship in this subject area and have achieved 18th Edition BS7671 certification.
