As the Sales Engineer, you will become a key partner to some of the largest UK manufacturers within the Automotive, Off-Road and General Industry sectors, delivering sustainable manufacturing and process control solutions.Your role:As the Sales Engineer in your territory, working closely with your colleagues in the UK and globally, you will deliver the following:Be the solutions expert – consult with customers to understand their long-term goals, demonstrate our products to the market and show the true value to our customers, helping them be the best in their sector.3-year plan implementation to drive continuous growth to remain a market leader within our targeted segments.Grow sales with focus on Automotive, Automotive Tiers’, General Industry sectors and indirect partners (integrators, machine tool builders and distributors).Grow the number of active users of our service solutions.Become a proactive ambassador of brand promotion. You will promote all solutions to our customers, providing demonstrations on-site and at our Innovation Centre.Deliver performance insights to your customers by leveraging the data available using the digital solutions within our portfolio.You will report to the Business Line Manager and you will be remote with a dedicated territory.Location: Northwest (M6/M1 Corridor), UKTo succeed, you will need:You will be dynamic and determined to lead customer success by:Listen to our customers identifying and delivering suitable solutions.Demonstrate a positive attitude with a focus on achieving the desired outcome.Proactively manage existing accounts and seek new opportunities.Be creative and innovative with ways to improve customer agility and efficiency.Ensuring customer relationships remain strong.Focus on Smart Tooling, Vision systems, Process Control, Data analytics and Screw-feeder systems.Broaden your own knowledge and skills.Build and maintain networks to exchange ideas and knowledge.Analyse the territory and market’s full potential.Qualification and Experiences :Engineering or sales qualifications, or relevant sales/business/marketing experience.Highly motivated and target-driven with experience in sales would be an advantage.Have a passion for UK manufacturing and an interest in future emerging technologies.SAP and Salesforce experience would be an advantage.Full clean UK license.What we offer:A great compensation package, commission and bonus structure.Company car (including the option of hybrid and electric vehicles) or car allowance.A supportive environment that encourages challenge at all levels and where psychological safety is key to our success.Opportunity for global career progression.Field-based working.40+ hours of training per year.Excellent pension.Optional private health care and wellness discounts.If you are passionate about delivering results, fostering innovation, and making a significant impact in the manufacturing industry, we encourage you to apply and join our team at Desoutter UK.
