Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?The Senior Manager, Climate Product & Strategy is responsible for further developing Personal Banking (PB) climate initiatives, identifying business opportunities, and building digital solutions to help our personal and business clients manage their climate risks and transition to a low-carbon economy.In this role, you will partner with Personal Banking teams to support, develop and execute initiatives that fulfill the commitments of the RBC Climate Blueprint.What will you do?Work closely with LOB colleagues to further develop PB’s climate strategy within areas of focus such as electrical vehicles (EV), home retrofits, among others.Identify opportunities and build new digital products that support Canadians in their transition to net zeroMaintain PB’s Electric Car Cost Calculator product on a monthly and annual basisDefine and prioritize scope of development for new product features and on-going enhancements to existing products, including management of all backlog and agile project management activitiesTest product features and bug fixes to ensure the product is polished, resilient, and user-friendlyWork closely with designers, data scientists and others to execute product roadmaps into features and product deliverySupport go-to-market strategies related to various PB climate initiatives, in collaboration with lines of business, to support Climate and LOB teams’ OKRsCommunicate with clarity across the organization to get stakeholder buy-in, and to help them understand the product roadmap and progress to dateWhat do you need to succeed?Must Have:A passion for sustainability and building solutions to help fight climate changeExperience translating business requirements into actionable solutions, with a history of creating user-centric customer experiencesExperience planning product releases and setting expectations for delivery of new functionality, bug fixes, or product improvementsExperience with working closely with designers, engineers, data scientists, analysts, and others to deliver products that deliver value to both users and the businessStrong attention to detail and previous QA experience, either defining or testing acceptance criteria based on product requirementsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsNice to Have:Experience and success in large matrix organizationsExperience taking a product to scale and developing it for commercializationExperience with excel data modelsExperience with Google AnalyticsBilingual (English and French) is an assetWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
