Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, Norwich, UKConsultant Haematologist (10 PA)We are looking for a colleague to join our forward-thinking and expanding Haematology Department. We would like to recruit a colleague who will develop a specialist interest in lymphoma and also non-malignant haematology.Main duties of the jobYou will be part of a team of 10 consultants, 5 rotational specialty registrars, 1 academic clinical fellow and 4 foundation year and IMT doctors.We provide Level 3 Haematology care and all stages of autologous stem cell transplantation by a JACIE accredited service. A high specification Radiotherapy treatment suite is on site. The hospital is a dedicated TYA centre and Haemophilia centre. Our department provides undergraduate teaching at the Norwich Medical School in both clinical and laboratory haematology, as well as having active clinical trials and basic scientific research programmes. Laboratory haematology is part of a managed pathology network across Norfolk and parts of Suffolk (Eastern Pathology Alliance). The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (NNUH) is the ‘hub’ laboratory and provides all community pathology for the network. - Entry on the GMC Specialist Register via CCT (proposed CCT date must be within 6 months of the interview) or Portfolio pathway specialist registration or specialist European qualification recognised by GMC

- Enthusiasm for service development and teaching.
