The Intake Analyst is responsible for coordinating the end-to-end technology intake process to take corrective action or escalate issues and meet established guidelines, processes, and service levels. The role works cooperatively with others to achieve synergies and accomplish common goals, receiving, logging and monitoring the status of each intake request to obtain sign-offs. The Intake Analyst is often required to interpret policies, standards, and requirements to meet work objectives, reviewing the content of each request for quality and accuracy, and following up to resolve or escalate issues to internal business partners or external service providers.At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role.   • Planning and coordination – Interact with multiple Teams including Design, Business Analysts, Developers, QA Teams and Stakeholders to gather and understand requirements.
  • Communication – Ability to articulate technical documentation into business understandable formats, clarity of thought and orderliness of presentation combined with the ability to express oneself and communicate with others verbally.
  • Teamwork & Relationship Management– Ability to establish and build healthy working relations and partnerships. A Team player that is flexible in approach
  • Technical & Software Lifecycle – Basic understanding of Technology stacks including Hardware, OS, Software/Application, Cloud services, Tools. Understanding of the software lifecycle and stages/components within it.
  • Time & Priority Management– Ability to assess and prioritize tasks in a fast paced Enterprise facing environment.

Who You Are

  • You can demonstrate experience in: 2+ years in a related role with exposure to SDLC/STLC/QA Lifecyle management. You have prior intake process or design/analytical experience and are adept with the project intake management principles and procedures. Able to work on multiple assignments if required simultaneously and produce quality results. Strong problem solving skills , understanding complex application interface and effectively communicating them to management / stakeholders.
  • You have working knowledge with: Jira, Confluence, and EasyBI. Financial Institute working knowledge,
  • You have a degree/diploma in: Computer Science, Technology and/or a related field. PMO or IT Tool certifications are an asset.
