Start Date: January 2025We are seeking a reliable and organised School Administrator to join a Special School in Chelmsford. This full-time permanent role is ideal for someone with excellent administrative skills who enjoys working in a dynamic and supportive school environment.As a School Administrator, you will manage the daily operations of the school office, providing essential support to staff, students, and parents. You will be responsible for handling communications, maintaining records, and ensuring the smooth running of the school’s administrative functions. This role offers excellent opportunities for professional development in a welcoming and inclusive school setting.Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the school’s front office, handling queries from staff, parents, and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records, including student attendance and admissions.
  • Assist with school communications, including newsletters, emails, and other correspondence.
  • Coordinate school events and meetings, ensuring effective organisation.
  • Provide administrative support to senior leadership and teaching staff as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a school administrative role is preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other administrative software.
