Financial Crime have a brand new role and the opportunity to join them as a Telephone Support Advisor on a 12 month secondment.The role will be responsible for answering inbound Financial Crime calls, dealing with general enquiries and delivering a first point of contact resolution. Main responsibilities include helping and supporting internal stakeholders and members in relation to Fraud and Financial Crime, giving clear and accurate information in an empathetic, friendly and efficient way.The job holder will ensure all customers are identified and verified in line with the Society procedures and industry regulations then in a timely and accurate way manage and / or escalate the enquiry, ensuring process adherence and first time resolution.Supporting the ongoing education of Society stakeholders, including staff and members and recording any form of dissatisfaction/ FCA complaint on the complaints system are also key parts of the role.This role will operate on a shifted basis Monday to Friday 8am – 7.30pm and Saturday 9am – 2pm. After training is complete there will be 2 days in the office a week.Benefits include:

About youFor this role you’ll already be in a customer service focused role with a good understanding of financial crime and the impact it has.Excellent communication skills with the confidence and empathy to talk to lots of different people will be important and you’ll already have some experience of dealing with more complex customers’ enquiries, in a careful and sensitive way.You’ll be a good team player with the ability to support and guide others as well as the confidence to make decisions in a timely manner.About usAs a mutual, we’ve always worked together to improve the lives of others.
