Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?In this role, you will be responsible for the management and revenue growth from RBC Capital Market client base from a Treasury and Cash Management perspective and provides a gateway to RBC for various products and services directly or indirectly impacting revenues to the business. You will manage solutions-based clients that require a high degree of customization/collaboration, and that drive new and innovative RBC products. You will have a significant focus on relationship management, quality of service, retention, profitability, and client growth. You will also develop client strategies, generate a prospect pipeline and support the development of regional sales strategies.What will you do?
- Deliver on the strategic business priorities of increasing cash management revenue with large and multinational entities.
- Manage relationships and achieve revenue growth with Solutions based clients, heavy users of Cash Management and other banking products, and that requires comprehensive relationship management routines and innovative business solutions.
- Responsible for the management of multi-tier strategic clients, supporting Capital Markets client base.
- Develop client strategy reviews/plans in consultation with relevant stakeholders and review same with Director/Managing Director/Relationship Manager on all key relationships
- Achieve business plan by executing individual and regional sales plans, resulting in strong value propositions for clients and increased revenue streams for RBC.
- Deliver business advice and new insights to clients with a unique perspective, using industry and economic insights to effectively lead meaningful client discovery sessions to uncover hidden business challenges and opportunities.
- Leverage industry knowledge, market insight and client philosophy with a view to developing opportunities and providing clear, insightful knowledge on RBC products.
What do you need to succeed?Must have:
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience within a bank relationship management, account management or sales role with extensive knowledge of the Cash Management Products, emerging industry trends, and the ability to speak to broader RBC strategies.
- University/College education
- Demonstrated development of an excellent client advice experience
- Superior impact and influencing skills to work at the senior management level with a proven track record of building strong relationships/working collaboratively across businesses and functions.
- Extensive knowledge of the Cash Management Products and emerging industry trends, and ability to promote change in the industry.
- Understanding and ability to articulate on business banking awareness, including deposit strategy and standard global service offerings.
- Exceptional negotiation skills in complex client scenarios.
- Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will regularly serve our clients and do business with RBC partners and/or employees across Canada with English and French speaking needs.
