Role DescriptionJoin Our Team – Female Support WorkerLocation:Ferndown, DorsetSalary:£12.00 per hour (£23,400 pro-rata) plus benefits.Hours:37.5 hours per week, 14-hour shifts from 7.30am to 9.30pm, Monday to Sunday (on a shift rota basis, this includes every other weekend).Contract:Full-time, Permanent.Driving Requirement:A valid full UK driving license is desirable, but not essential.Right to Work:Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.   • Daily Care & Support: Helping with personal care, meal preparation, medication, and other daily tasks.
  • Building Relationships: Getting to know the people you support, understanding their needs, and helping them live life on their own terms.
  • Empowering Independence: Assisting with personal goals, from daily activities to long-term aspirations, and encouraging creative exploration.
  • Social Engagement: Supporting activities like holiday’s, social events, and hobbies, ensuring everyone could enjoy what they love doing.
  • Respect & Dignity: Ensuring that the people we support, and their families are treated respectfully, with dignity, and equality.

Who you will be Supporting?“Hi, I’m supported by SeeAbility in my own home. I’m looking for calm, patient, and non-judgemental people to join my team. I love spending time at home and enjoy my own space. I use Makaton to communicate, but I also use my own version which I can teach you.I have learning disabilities, and while my behaviour can sometimes be particularly challenging, I’m looking for someone who can help me live a fulfilling life.
