We’ll support you to get the most out of your career, including putting you through any required training for the role and support any career development ambitions.Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

• A good understanding of building services including, heating, hot and cold water distribution, ventilation, electrical distribution and plumbing.
• A good understanding of building fabric and its maintenance.
• Practical experience of planned maintenance systems and record keeping.
• Knowledge of relevant statutory requirements and experience of compliance.
• A full driving licence and willing to support neighbouring Bupa care homes.
• A minimum of 3 years hand on experience in property maintenance and general repairs, or building/electrical/plumbing qualification (City & Guilds, BTEC, ONC, HNC etc) or
• Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Computer literate.
• Good Customer service skills.
• Be flexible to meet changing demands within the care home.
• Practical ability and experience in painting and decorating.
