Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?You will join the Advice Centre Analytics team and play a key role in the consolidation and enhancements of the monthly and quarterly business performance reports for the Advice Centre, which are used by the senior management team to drive discussions to make better-informed decisions and achieve business goals. This includes interacting with various stakeholders to consolidate data, sourcing relevant data using analytical tools (Tableau), and delivering actionable insights/early warnings to management and key stakeholders. You will support the development and execution of the Advice Centre Analytics strategy through engagement in national initiatives/projects, leveraging sophisticated statistical techniques to develop and deliver business insights.What will you do?

  • Lead AC Sales Analytics and Transformation, covering all aspects and strategic pillars of AC channel’s balanced scorecard.
  • Build data-driven frameworks to generate Insights and Tell Stories, enhancing and informing our sales strategy.
  • Apply analytical skills and business acumen to identify drivers/root causes of underpinning results, including the identification of business improvement opportunities.
  • Proactively deliver and present timely and value-added insights and actionable recommendations in writing and orally.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience, employee experience/engagement, optimize multi-channel capabilities and drive operational efficiencies.
  • Understand the interrelationship of activities/interactions and desired performance to identify influential levers to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
  • Apply predictive models and segmentation techniques to improve insights and analysis of business performance, prepare correlation analysis to drive national and centre specific results and explore new and different data sources to find solutions to business problems.
  • Engage in national initiatives/ projects to drive strategic decisions and changes, including data analysis, modeling or regression, and deep diving for insights to help make informed decisions.
  • Effectively manage and prioritize multiple business initiatives, projects, ah-hoc analysis requests with business stakeholders and/or partners

What do you need to succeed?Must-have

  • Seasoned and Strategic thought leadership professional with proven ability to inform strategy and action plans using data and analytics
  • Ability to create value from data to tell stories connecting multiple data points to recommend actions and path forward
  • Understanding of trend analytics and forecasting business results
  • Demonstrated business acumen, and ability to apply data and analytics concepts to business problems
  • Professional communication, presentation and facilitation skills, and strong technical ability with MS PowerPoint and Excel
  • Strong analytical capabilities, critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail, organization, ability to multitask and time management is critical to be successful in this role
  • Degree in business, mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering, economics or related quantitative field

  • SQL, Python, Tableau
  • Canadian Banking Operations or Advice Center experience
  • Personal & Commercial Banking
