This full-time, permanent position offers a rewarding opportunity to support students’ personal and academic growth, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment.As a Pastoral Support Officer, you will be a key member of the school’s pastoral team, focusing on promoting positive behaviour, attendance, and emotional well-being. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working directly with students to make a lasting impact on their school experience.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and support to students, promoting positive behaviour and attendance.
- Work with students to address any barriers to learning and well-being.
- Support the pastoral team in implementing school policies related to student welfare.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to support student development.
- Monitor and report on student progress and well-being.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- A compassionate and patient approach to student support.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
