As a Digital Product Manager on the Access and Authentication team, you will play a key role in driving the strategy and execution of authentication and security related initiatives for Digital Banking. You will partner with technology & design teams, control functions, and other Business Lines to deliver the optimal customer experience while ensuring our customers are as protected as they can be. This role has a highly collaborative mandate with exposure across the Scotia Connect Platform and across various lines of business.What You’ll Do:
- This role will be accountable for ensuring that delivery aligns to the Access and Authentication strategy, vision, and roadmap. You will assist in the development of the vision and roadmap with our Product and Technology teams.
- Define features, themes, and epics in suitable levels of detail and prioritize them based on their respective business value.
- Create, prioritize, and maintain the future enhancement backlog. Define detailed user stories, acceptance criteria/Specification creating a common understanding of functional requirements with your squad and ensuring that the backlog items are clearly defined and ready for development.
- Collaborate with your squad to ensure that the feature/enhancement/update/fix conforms with business requirements. This includes actively participating in sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings.
- Partner with UX and design SMEs to create seamless digital customer experiences that supports customers Cash Management needs.
- Work with internal Risk & Compliance partners to ensure product suite meets evolving regulatory, compliance, legal, and internal policy requirements.
- Act as the primary liaison between the stakeholders (including customers, Business Line Leaders, and the Technology teams). This includes communicating effectively across diverse audiences, managing expectations, resolving conflicts, and ensuring that everyone is aligned on the product goals and business priorities.
- Work with Sales, Marketing, Support teams to define the go-to-market strategy and ensure successful launches. Post-launch, monitor product performance by tracking key metrics and user feedback, and adjust the product strategy and backlog as necessary.
What You’ll Bring:
- You have 3-5+ years of Product Management experience in cash management business in a role building customer facing digital products.
- You have managed a technology driven product, service, or a digital journey end to end, from inception to delivery.
- Willingness to travel based on business need will be required between our Toronto and Scarborough offices.
- Can-do mindset, able to fail fast and pivot without taking circumstances personally.
- You have experience in web, mobile, or microservice development with a strong focus on fraud & security.
- You have strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at different levels in the organizations.
- You are a strong problem solver and have a flair for getting things done.
- You have excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Prior experience of developing roadmaps in Mural or other applications.
- Prior knowledge in Digital Identity space in a Cash Management business related role is an asset.
