We are looking to appoint a Proteomics Technician to join the Proteomics Core Facility at the MRC Toxicology Unit, University of Cambridge. The facility performs a fundamental role in tackling proteomic-based problems for the Unit’s scientific programmes.As the Proteomics Technician you will provide technical support to ensure the smooth running of the Proteomics Facility. You will be responsible for sample preparation, reporting results to scientists, operating and maintaining specialist equipment and general laboratory maintenance.You will need to have a degree (or equivalent) in a scientific discipline with practical experience in proteomics sample preparation. Specific experience in nano LC MS/MS, analysis of peptides and proteins by bottom up and top down methods would be an advantage.
