HEPS199-24About the roleWe are excited to be recruiting to this Head of Department role at University of Staffordshire which will oversee all aspects of the provision in our Department of Psychology. This Department sits within the School of Health, Education, Policing and Sciences and is located at our main Stoke Campus. The successful candidate will become part of the School Management Team and will report directly to the Executive Dean of the School.Main responsibilitiesThe Head of Department for Psychology will demonstrate strong leadership of the academic portfolio and the strategic direction of the Department. They will promote and support education, research, enterprise and professional practice activities in order to deliver and enhance the student, external stakeholder and colleague experience. Our Heads of Department are accountable for the successful achievement of key performance metric targets for their area and manage the interrelationships with external organisations including Professional and Statutory Regulatory Bodies.
