2024-10-30Full TimePermanentMachinist£15.31 per hourNottinghamDays 6am – 6pm 4 on 4 offAMPLE Overtime availableFull time – Temp to PermSummaryGI Pro are working with an established engineering company in the North Nottingham area.The role currently offers Days shifts 6am – 6pmRates of pay are £15.31 per hourThis is a full-time role and a temporary to permanent opportunity.Company – Manufacturer for the construction industryThe role:

• Operating an extrusion machine (training provided based on the candidate having a machinery background and transferable skills)
• Load the moulds, take out the products and put into stock.
• Basic machine maintenance
• Using hand and power tools

The Person:

• Machinist will have experience working in a heavy steel or construction industry and be confident to run large machinery and use hand and power tools.
• Extrusion machinery experience would be very advantageous for this role.
• Ability to work from job lists and measure right amount of materials.
• Following strict health and safety rules
