Job Description:On behalf of our esteemed client, Robert Half is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Property Accountant. The Senior Property Accountant will hold a pivotal role in the company, managing financial activities across a portfolio of properties, preparing financial reports, budgets, and performing general accounting functions.Responsibilities:
- Lead the month-end and year-end closing process for the assigned portfolio, including bank reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Detect potential risks and opportunities to improve portfolio performance
- Prepare annual budgets and monitor actual performances against budgets
- Calculate and prepare monthly accruals and prepayments
- Assist with internal and external audit requests to ensure compliance
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, such as tenants, property managers, and senior leaders
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Senior Property Accountant
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced in Excel
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines and manage time effectively
