Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?In this role you will support the VP Client Regulatory and KYC Operations in the delivery of the Global Capital Markets KYC refresh. Success will be achieved through strong understanding of KYC collaboration, and support for direct reports and the team, which includes the ability to be hands on in aspects of process, and metric development.What will you do?Support the VP to deliver a successful KYC Refresh ProgramTakes ownership of challenges related to refresh processes, ensuring internal stakeholders and colleagues are treated with respect, empathy and integrity contributing to good working relationshipsConduct effective oversight, ensuring accurate and consistent processes/controls are in place to minimize operational errorsReview completeness of metrics, leading the development of enhancements, providing updates to VP CRKO and senior management as requiredWork in strong partnership with members of the team to ensure the end-to-end KYC refresh process is completed as accurately and efficiently as possible, in addition to supporting oversight testing and audit inquiries as neededProvide strong customer service to front and middle office partners, in addition to working collaboratively and effectively with other partners including Financial CrimesMotivate and ensure the team completes refresh cases efficiently and with top quality, while also encouraging an agile outlook and skillset in order to adapt to changing business needs (analysts need to pivot between refresh, and outreach as required)Collaborate with on boarding colleagues on an ongoing basis to ensure efficiency and alignment on process and capabilitiesWhat you need to succeed?Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study3 – 5 years prior experience in a financial institution operations environment, preferably in Capital Markets operationsStrong AML and Compliance regulatory knowledge, with the ability to handle multiple high-visibility projectsPrevious experience in a people manager role, managing productive high performing teamsAbility to structure and break down complex problems to find and implement solutionsStrong analytical, organizational skills and critical thinking skills to make sound decisions and solve problems under pressure, in a team environment.Strong presentation, communication and interpersonal skillsHigh Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint to be used for reporting and presentationsStrong relationship management skillsHighly organizedWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
