Get in touch with us to discuss in more detail.Junior HR Business PartnerLondon – Hybrid (min 50% office based)We have an exciting opportunity for a brand new Junior HR Business Partner, to support our growing DB (Defined Benefits) and CM&I (Capital Management & Investments) business. In this role, you will work the Strategic HR Business in partnering with the business to support the people and culture agenda, including headcount management, performance management, talent development, compensation review and other strategic activities.The Junior HR Business Partner will be able to influence initiatives to achieve outcomes which are fair, appropriate to the Just culture, commercial and aligned with legal and regulatory requirements.This is a great opportunity for someone with HR experience who is looking to grow their career in a business partnership role, or an existing business partner looking for further development.Key Responsibilities:Work alongside the Strategic HR Business Partners on a variety of HRBP colleague lifecycle activities (compensation cycle, performance management, talent reviews etc) such as providing manager support, supporting data requirements and calibration activity.Build strong professional relationships with line managers and senior leaders of the business, with a particular focus on strengthening their managerial capabilities.Work across the business to support succession planning, risk and developing functional and diverse talent pools.Develop and build tools and solutions that can be used by the wider HR Business partnering team with a view to add consistency in the service received by the business and drive process efficiency.Support and monitor the resourcing management needs of the business to provide easy clarity on progress against hiring targets and budgets.Work with line managers to identify employees who would benefit from specific learning interventions and monitor development over time.Support the delivery of the compensation process partnering with the business to support the annual salary and bonus cycle, providing input and oversight on benchmarking, total reward and DE&I principles.In conjunction with the Employee Relations team, partner with the business on employee relations activities ensuring all actions taken are within policy, legal and regulatory requirements.Report on the HR metrics and drive any relevant actions within the business.Skills and Experience:Proven experience in HR is essential, with good understanding of HR processesPrevious experience of working within Financial Services (ideal) or a regulated environmentStrong relationship building skills with the ability to build strong networks and stakeholder relationships as a credible and trusted advisorExperience supporting on a range of core people and talent processes and practices such as recruitment, talent development, performance management, organisational development and rewardStrong communication and interpersonal skills – brings empathy and strong communication, questioning and listening skillsCommercial acumen – understanding business drivers, priorities and how these align with people and talent prioritiesHas analytical thinking and problem solving skills – understands and integrates data and insights from a range of sources to solve problems and inform actionsHas a digital mindset – understands how to apply technology in a people environmentCompany BenefitsA Competitive Salary, Pension Scheme and Life AssuranceAlong with 25 Days Annual Leave plus an Additional Day on us for your BirthdayPrivate Medical Cover and Income Protection, just in caseA generous and highly achievable bonus scheme – paid annually based on individual and company performance against targetsOpportunity to progress within your career both in-role and within the companyFREE access to the Headspace App, a 24/7 Employee Assistance Helpline and Trained Physical & Mental Health First Aiders (On-Site)A variety of Employee Funded Benefits available to you via our Online Benefits PortalPlus, several additional purchase options available for you and your loved onesAbout UsWe’re a FTSE 250 Financial Services company who specialise in retirement solutions and right now, our world is moving pretty quickly.How people work, save, and plan for the future is all changing.
