Job Opportunity: Experienced Class 2 HGV Driver with Plant Machinery ExperienceDriver Hire Colchester is looking for a skilled Class 2 driver with proven plant machinery handling experience to join our team!Job Details:

• Location: Colchester
• Pay Rate: £15.50 per hour, minimum of 8.5 hours per day with overtime at basic x 1.5
• Hours are Monday to Friday with occasional weekends .
• Benefits: Weekly pay, PAYE, pension contributions, and holiday pay at 12.07% (option to accrue holiday available)

Requirements:

• Valid Category C (Class 2) license
• In-date CPC and Digi cards
• Clean driving record (maximum 6 points; no DR, DD, or IN convictions)
• Proven experience in safe loading/unloading
• Strong communication skills and strict adherence to the highway code

Role Overview:This role involves loading, securing, and transporting machinery and equipment to various construction sites and handling inter-depot transfers. Applicants should have:

• Extensive HGV experience with loading, delivering, and collecting heavy plant equipment
• A sound understanding of Health & Safety protocols and commitment to workplace safety
• Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail
• This position could lead in to a full time role .
