We love what we do; we eat, live and breathe health and fitness and we train hard.We have a strong drive for business growth and ambitious plans to expand the company.The jobWe are looking for an exceptional personal trainer to join the team and help take the company to the next level. We are not looking for an ‘average’ trainer; we set high standards and have high expectations. We need someone who can drive the business forward by continuing to live our company values which have built the business to the leading name it is today.In the short term, you will be responsible for two key initiatives to help expand the client base:· You will take on and manage new 1-1 personal training clients.· You will design, market and run new strength and fitness classes to boost revenues and maximise use of the studio.In the medium to long term, you will become involved in business development, including some of the following. You will– Take part in decision making about the direction of the business.– Take on more managerial duties and enjoy the benefits and rewards that come with it.– Broaden your role, learning new skills and diversifying your responsibilities.– Be capable of running the company for brief periods in the absence of the director.– Position yourself to take over the company, or part of the company, should the need or opportunity arise.Initially, your main activities and responsibilities will include1. Coaching: 1-1 training of clients.2. Client onboarding: Goal setting and programme design.3. Client management: Ongoing client management and reporting.4. Sales: Taking part in consultations.5. Management functions. Contribution to discussions and idea generation as required.As your experience grows, you will gain more responsibility and independence.You will be a member of the Life Force Fitness team. You will be operating under the Life Force Fitness brand and be expected to align with the training and nutrition philosophies of that brand. You will train all your 1-1 clients at the Life Force Fitness studio in Moulton Park, Northampton. Your feedback and ideas will not just be encouraged, they will be part of your remit.Being part of the Life Force Fitness team has other advantages:· You will not need to compete with other trainers for business, nor walk around the studio marketing yourself to potential clients.· You won’t need to compete with general members or other trainers for equipment.· You will have the full support of the other members of the team for all aspects of your role. We operate an incentive scheme that pays a bonus award. The size of that bonus depends a great deal on your ability to generate revenue and your eligibility for such an award will be assessed on key performance metrics such as client results, client retention and client feedback.The CandidateHaving the right attitude is crucial and is more important than your experience or qualifications. But we do have some criteria for a successful application over and above attitude:Essential qualifications, skills and experienceYou must have a level 3 Personal Trainer Qualification.Preferred qualifications, skills and experience· At least one year’s experience as a personal trainer.· Additional CPD qualifications.· Good academic grades with higher education preferred.· Experience in strength-based training as opposed to, say, running or specific sports.· Good levels of computer literacy, knowledge of social media marketing, website basics, photo and video editing basics.· Understanding or experience in posture and movement correction.
