This role is pivotal in ensuring flawless management of the accounting and financial reporting activities related to CWB and efficient interface between our banking and accounting systems. Keep reading!Areas of focusFinancialsBe the go-to person for the CWB Finance team, providing expertise on the T24-SUN interface for accurate financial reporting.Manage T24-related accounting activities, ensuring accurate mapping of T24 accounts into SUN, timely reconciliation, and representation of Finance in T24-related committees.Implement, maintain, and review key account reconciliations, processes, and controls to ensure financial integrity, including T24 suspense balances, deferred revenue, and expense balances.Cooperate with the Accounting team to ensure a timely and accurate close for CWB and its partners.Coordinate ad-hoc information requests from Executive, Senior Management, and internal partners.Participate in Finance-sponsored and non-Finance projects, providing accounting or financial input and analysis.Prepare variance analysis to ensure accuracy of financial information, including yield, cost of funds and non-interest income analysis.Assist in leading a timely and accurate month end close process for CWB and its partner companies, working closely with other members of the Portfolio Accounting and the broader Finance team.Uphold and update internal control procedures, recommending improvements and communicating concerns to leadership.ClientsDevelop procedures and manuals related to T24 accounting, reporting, and analytical insights to support Finance and other departments.Collaborate with other departments to find solutions, improve efficiencies, and share knowledge to boost CWB Financial Group’s performance.Provide thoughtful and timely responses to queries from Finance staff, branches, and senior leadership.Offer SME support to the Application Management Services and Banking Operations Services teams, and assist with T24 troubleshooting.SupportProvide SME support for T24 programming, functionality, and improvement in execution for Finance and CWB Group users.Liaise between the Help Desk and T24 users, manage T24 change requests related to Finance, and participate in ad-hoc task forces.Boost operational efficiency by suggesting improvements to current procedures and processes, using technology effectively.Represent Finance in various CWB Group committees.Support departments, branches, and partner companies by solving issues and providing innovative process ideas.Demonstrate adaptability by performing other duties as assigned.PeopleEncourage trust through open, honest communication, meeting commitments, and ethical dealings.Treat all collaborators, customers, partners, and team members with integrity, dignity, and respect, encouraging an environment where people can excel.Exhibit strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration in a diverse environment.Accept responsibility and accountability for actions and results.Make decisions with common sense and sound business judgment.Regularly review annual goals and career development plans with the manager/supervisor.Foster collaboration and dedication within the CWB Group to achieve common goals.Who we’re looking forEducation & ExperienceCPA DesignationA Bachelor of Commerce or Business Administration degree is required.
