Attorney – Mass TortPosition Overview
We are looking for you, our next Associate Attorney, to join our fast growing firm with a strong company culture.Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)Salary: $130,000 – $180,000This role is crucial in providing expert legal support and representation to our clients involved in mass tort litigation.Key Responsibilities
- Manage and litigate mass tort cases from inception to resolution
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on product liability and premise liability issues
- Prepare and file legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery requests
- Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather and present evidence
- Negotiate settlements and represent clients in court proceedings as necessary
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends related to mass torts
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to strategize case approaches
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in mass tort and product liability litigation
- Strong understanding of major loss and professional liability cases
- Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
- Demonstrated commitment to client service and ethical legal practice
