Hours: 35 per weekBrunstane Primary School is seeking to recruit a Principal Teacher with proven track record of excellent classroom practice and experience of leadership.We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and dynamic individual who will lead and develop learning and teaching within our Second Level team.The successful candidate will be driven, and committed to Social Justice and able to demonstrate an strong understanding of additional support needs. Candidates should be able to demonstrate an excellent knowledge of classroom pedagogy and the ability to learn new approaches quickly. The successful candidate will also have experience in leading initiatives, motivating colleagues and encouraging leadership at all levels.This post has a teaching commitment, the successful candidate will be a part of the wider school leadership team.Brunstane is situated in an area of multiple deprivation and receives Positive Action funding. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check.
