.Basic FunctionThe APS Americas Supply Chain Director is responsible for overseeing raw material planning, operations planning, inventory planning, customer service, logistics, and other supply chain operations for APS Americas within the United States, Mexico, and Brazil. This role involves developing and implementing supply chain strategies that align with business goals and objectives, ensuring efficient and cost-effective processes, and collaborating with regional teams to optimize supply chain performance.Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee supply chain operations for APS Americas, including the United States, Mexico, and Brazil.
- Serve as a champion and steward of IBP (Integrated Business Planning) and ensure its proper implementation across the organization
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with business goals and objectives.
- Ensure efficient and cost-effective supply chain processes, including raw material planning, operations planning, logistics, inventory planning, US/CAN customer service, and distribution.
- Collaborate with regional teams to optimize supply chain performance and address any issues or challenges.
- Serve as a culture leader for the organization and continually develop our new talent pipeline.
- Monitor supply chain metrics and KPIs such as OTIF performance, Inventory, and Costs to ensure targets are met and identify areas for improvement.
- Foster relationships with key suppliers and partners to ensure reliable and high-quality supply chain operations.
Min. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain is preferred.
- Ten years or more of relevant supply chain, commercial experience, planning, and business analysis experience, or operational management.
- Demonstrated competence in managing effective business processes.
- Good knowledge of the relevant LyondellBasell market segments, products, assets, and supply chain processes.
- Management skills to steer and coach a team.
- Structured approach to developing effective business processes.
- Strong organization and planning skills.
- High level of problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communicator.
- Focused time management.
