This opportunity offers competitive compensation, professional growth, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients.Job Description:As a Speech-Language Pathologist in Lovington, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in patients across a variety of settings. This role will involve working closely with multidisciplinary teams to create personalized treatment plans and achieve the best possible patient outcomes.Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders in pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and assessments.
- Provide therapy for speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
- Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with clinic policies and state regulations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care.
- Educate patients and their families on techniques and strategies for improving communication and swallowing.
- Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and continuing education opportunities.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
Education & Certification Requirements:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in New Mexico.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- CPR/BLS certification required.
- Previous experience in a clinical or healthcare setting is preferred, but not required.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and therapy techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
