An opportunity has arisen for a practice nurse to join our 4 partner friendly practice in Send, Surrey. The practice is set in nice grounds with free on-site staff car parking. Duties will include general treatment room duties including smears, immunisations, wound care and long-term conditions including respiratory.Training will be available for the right candidate.Main duties of the jobResponsibilities: – Provide direct patient care in a medical practice setting – Perform physical assessments and collect patient health histories – Administer medications and treatments as ordered by healthcare providers – Assist with minor surgical procedures, wound care and IUCD clinics – Conduct patient education on various health topics – Monitor and document patient vital signs and symptoms – Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care – Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records-Respiratory NurseSkills: – Proficient in providing patient care and performing clinical procedures – Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members – Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment – Attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and medication administrationPlease note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.About usThe Villages Medical Centre is a friendly GP Surgery with 4 long standing partners.
