- Responsible for oversight of the activities and functions of a department.
- Provides functional expertise to staff and leadership.
- Ensures effective use of system resources.
- Participates in standards of practice and process improvement activities.
- Participates in hiring, oversees daily productivity, and creates staffing schedule.
- Ensures policy and procedures are followed by staff.
QualificationsPreferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
- BSN preferred.
- Knowledge of health plan benefit coverage and regulations
- Certification of Case Management.
- EPIC experience.
- ECIN or All scripts experience.
Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
- Two years of experience in a lead or supervisory role.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in case management/utilization review, discharge planning, and Millman/InterQual criteria usage.
- Proficiency in MS Office software, and ability to quickly learn a variety of case management systems.
Required Certification/Registration:
- CA RN license.
- Current BLS Healthcare from American Heart Association.

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met:
- Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
- Must remain in original department/specialty
- Must remain in original Job Title
- Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.
