Personal Assistant – Group Risk Function (Global Investment Business)
Location: City of London (Hybrid after probation)
Salary: Competitive, plus generous benefits and discretionary bonus
Hours: 9:30am – 5:15pmAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Personal Assistant to join the Group Risk function of a globally respected investment business based in the City of London. This role involves providing high-level support to the Group Chief Risk Officer, the Chief of Staff, and several other key individuals within the Group Risk function.This is a non-traditional PA role, offering a variety of additional duties alongside typical administrative tasks, making it ideal for a highly organised individual who enjoys working on multiple concurrent projects. The business prides itself on its collaborative and inclusive culture, providing an environment where employees feel welcomed, appreciated, and supported.During your probationary period, this role will be fully office-based, after which you will have the flexibility to work from home two days per week.Key Responsibilities

  • Diary Management: Proactively managing complex schedules and meetings.
  • Travel Coordination: Arranging travel itineraries and managing logistics.
  • Report Preparation: Assisting with the annual operational risk assessment process and coordinating Group policy updates.
  • Administration: Managing expenses, invoices, research, and document preparation.
  • Insurance Matters: Supporting the team with insurance-related responsibilities.
  • Communication: Handling internal and external correspondence with professionalism.

Person Specification

  • 5-10 years of prior experience as a senior-level PA, ideally within a professional or financial services environment.
  • Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • A collaborative and adaptable mindset, with a focus on providing excellent support.
