Principal Connections – executive search has been retained to conduct an executive search for the key senior management post of Head of People and Culture on behalf of one of Ireland’s leading healthcare organisations.THE POSITIONA pivotal senior management role, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Head of People and Culture will contribute to the overall ongoing strategic development of the People and Culture agenda in the organisation, with a particular focus on promoting good human resource management practices and fostering positive and collegial working relationships. The post-holder will be focused on the delivery of the people-related agenda in collaboration with the organisation’s multiple functions and services, and ongoing leadership, transformation and development of the specialist People and Culture team.REQUIREMENTSSuitably qualified and interested candidates will hold at least seven years’ experience in human resources. Candidates should come with exemplary track record of leadership within a complex environment, preferably with some experience in the not-for-profit / NGO sector along with a proven background of leading change or transformation initiatives, and implementing operational plans in large organisations. Core competencies inherent within this role will include: highly developed leadership skills, strategic vision, transformational change, communication, organisational awareness, collaboration and relationship management, with a problem-solving attitude.
