Employment Type: Part-Time, temporary to permanent.WEEKEND WORKHours:This is a part time position, working Saturday’s and Sunday’s.Day shift: 5.30am – 1.30pmPay rate is £13.84 per hour.Weekends only shifts – SATURDAY & SUNDAY SHIFTS.Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Picker/Packer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by accurately selecting and packing products ready for dispatch.If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in delivering quality service, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:
- Picking:
- Accurately pick products from the warehouse based on order specifications.
- The use of a voice activated headset to track inventory and ensure correct selections.
- Packing:
- Carefully pack products to prevent damage during transit, ensuring all items are securely packaged.
- Inventory Management:
- Report any discrepancies or damaged items to supervisors promptly.
- Safety and Cleanliness:
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Keep work areas organised and clean to promote efficiency and safety.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet daily productivity targets.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role is a plus, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Basic math skills for order verification.
- Ability to lift heavy items and stand for long periods.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
